DADADA began life as the Dunbar Lyric Group and staged its first performance, A Flight of Fantasy, in 1985. From that time, the group performed many musicals, pantomimes, and plays to local audiences.
In 2021, we re-branded ourselves as the Dunbar and District Amateur Drama Association (DADADA) to be more inclusive and reflective of our productions.
Over the years, members have come and gone, unfortunately, in many cases, are no longer with us. However, as we are heading for our fortieth year, we are again growing in membership and welcome any who wish to try out their thespian wings, whether it be onstage or off it. We particularly want to hear from anyone who has experience with sound engineering, lighting, costume, and set design/management.
If performing or being involved with the production is not your cup of tea, then support us by coming to our shows. Details of which can be found on our upcoming productions page.
We look forward to seeing you.
